
UTV Pictures' Vikram starrer Nanna (Deiva Thirumagal in Tamil), directed by Madarasapattinam Vijay, has bagged a clean 'U' certificate from the Censor Board. Reportedly the Censor Board officials were very impressed with the film and also rated it as one of the best performances in Vikram's career.
The film, which is expected to grace theatres on July 15, 2011, will be released in more than 400 screens across the country. Music composed by G.V. Prakash is already topping the charts.
Starring Vikram as Krishna, a mentally challenged adult with the maturity of a five-year-old, the film has Anushka playing the role of a lawyer, while Amala Paul plays an important role. Nirav handles the camera while Madaraspattinam Vijay is the director.Nanna is Vikram's fouth film being dubbed in Telugu, after Anniyan (Aparichitudu), Pithamagan (Siva Putrudu), Kanthaswamy (Mallanna) and Raavanan.
