Shruti with Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh

Pretty singer-actress Shruti Haasan, daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, has been confirmed to be the heroine opposite Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the upcoming Gabbar Singh, remake of Salman Khan's massive Bollywood hit Dabangg (2010).Initially, the makers approached Kajal Aggarwal, but she could not sign the project due to date clashes. The complete cast and crew of Gabbar Singh will be announced soon and the shooting is expected to start in July. Presently, Shruti is busy with two Telugu projects: an untitled NTR starrer and Siddharth's O My Friend.
