Bejawada Rowdilu shooting stopped forcibly

Vijayawada City Police on Wednesday forcibly stopped the shooting of Ram Gopal Varma's Bejawada Rowdilu on the PWD Grounds, following complaints from several organisations.
The film's director Vivek Krishna had said on Tuesday that their shooting schedule was over, but when he continued to shoot on Wednesday, the police personnel forcibly stopped the activity. The crew shot some scenes on Prakasam Barrage and later came to the PWD Grounds.
Earlier, Police Commissioner Amit Garg had withdrawn permission for the shooting and asked the cinema crew to stop shooting, though permission was earlier granted from May 22 to 27.
The Commissioner said he had asked the film director and producer to submit a copy of the script so that they could examine it and take a legal opinion on it before allowing them to shoot their remaining schedule.
